Design Lead - Affinity

As Affinity scales, change continues to be part of our DNA – we like to think that's all part of the fun though. We’ve provided a breakdown of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Lead projects from briefing to delivery, under the direction of the Head of Creative and working with other creatives, and thriving in collaboration with a wider marketing team
  • Develop strong ideas, crafting and scrutinising briefs and strategies
  • Be familiar with creating integrated campaigns, with an understanding of how to take us into increasing OOH and experiential campaign strategies
  • Communicate and champion creative thinking and technical execution to collaborators throughout each project
  • Oversee junior creatives to help them deliver their best work
  • Understand how to brief other creative specialists: content creators, copywriters, videographers, motion designers, video producers, artworkers etc. to collaborate on projects

In order to fully understand the brand and product you’ll be working on, you’ll be expected to use Affinity creative software to produce your artwork; therefore, you’ll ideally have a good grasp of the software already.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Design Lead to spearhead the ideation, production and delivery for Affinity campaigns. This opportunity requires superstar creative skills with an open mind to crossboard into our suite of software whilst also demonstrating commercial awareness and desire to spread the word of Affinity. You’ll be a confident presenter, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and someone who can craft multi-channel end-to-end journeys across each campaign.

  • Senior level creative experience in an in-house brand, marketing or agency environment
  • Proven track record delivering impactful commercially successful campaigns including specifically above-the-line and through-the-line
  • Demonstrable practical multi-creative skills as well as conceptual thinking
  • Experience in a fast-paced, quick turnaround environment
  • Deep understanding of the role that video/social content plays in campaigns
  • Experience overseeing creatives
  • Ability to design pitch decks and presentations
