B2B Program Management Lead

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement comprehensive program management strategies for B2B workstreams, aligning them with Canva's overall business and marketing goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and cohesion in B2B initiatives. Lead alignment with other supergroups across the organization.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, lead, and oversee the execution of B2B projects within the Marketing supergroup, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, issues, and roadblocks in B2B projects and develop mitigation plans to address them effectively, ensuring smooth progress.
  • Collaborator Communication: Facilitate clear and concise communication with collaborators at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, goals achieved, and challenges faced.
  • Reporting & Performance Analysis: Implement robust tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure the performance and impact of B2B initiatives, using data-motivated insights to optimise strategies. Present these findings in monthly business reviews (MBRs), collating progress on B2B initiatives across the org.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing standard processes to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery.
  • Leadership: Coach and mentor a small team of program managers to ensure all projects across B2B workstreams are running smoothly.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget of B2B marketing, including budget allocation, expenditure tracking, and cost control measures. Ensure projects are driven within allocated budgets, making strategic decisions to optimize resources and achieve desired outcomes while improving cost-efficiency.

  • You have demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, driving collaboration, innovation, and results.
  • You have an exceptional strategic approach with the ability to develop and implement program management strategies aligned with business goals.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • You have proven analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-motivated decisions to optimize B2B initiatives.
  • You have a consistent track record of identifying challenges, developing effective solutions, and implementing process improvements.
  • You have the ability to thrive in a multifaceted environment, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.

At Canva, our new B2B Marketing Group is responsible for driving growth in our enterprise customer base through strategic and impactful marketing initiatives. Comprising dedicated professionals in product marketing, customer marketing, campaigns, field marketing, events, and execution, this diverse team is committed to pioneering innovative strategies that propel Canva to the forefront of the industry. At Canva we value fairness, and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills, experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is $139,000 to $215,000 . When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
