Where and how you can work

Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

As a GTM Lead in the SMB (small to medium sized business) sales team, known as the Scaled Sales team, you will excel at the intersection of commercial achievement, delightful customer experiences, and operational excellence. You’ll have demonstrated previous success as a commercial or operations leader, with proven results driving growth metrics, ideally within a scaled SaaS business. You’ll also know and love sales teams - you’ll be passionate about driving them forward to success.  

  • You have a track record of impact. You are deeply focused on impact & goals, and you have built a track record of evidence to that effect.
  • Builder mindset and strong bias to action; these sales motions are on the ground floor, and results won’t follow unless you lean into challenges and quickly build foundations, in partnership with or with the support of stakeholders
  • You’ll track key performance metrics, set monthly incentives and work with the sales leadership to identify areas for improvement to optimise sales performance.
  • With strong commercial acumen, you pride yourself in understanding your business, knowing what drives value, and you hold yourself accountable to great results. 
  • Able to design and implement repeatable systems, processes & playbooks from scratch, that set a high bar for quality and propel delivery and impact at scale.
  • You’ll be exceptional at bringing together a large & cross-functional group of leaders and teams together under a single strategy & set of goals.

We’d love it if you have

  • Prior experience within Sales, Growth, Strategy Consulting and / or Business Operations, ideally within a high growth technology company
  • Experience in a Senior Commercial or Operational leadership role with experience leading cross-functional projects and building from zero to achieve scale
  • A strong understanding of Product-led B2B Growth and Sales GTM strategies
  • The skills to communicate complex concepts and insights concisely
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards immediate actions and results
  • A humility and willingness to question one’s own assumptions / desire to constantly improve

About the team

A key pillar of our Revenue growth engine is our Scaled Sales motion, which assists businesses to rapidly experience success with Canva, & grow to reach their organisational Canva potential.

This is a critical team to help Canva deliver on it’s B2B aspirations, and whilst we’re in the early stages of building the motion - this role has a huge potential impact, defining how we empower all small businesses to design!
