Sales Strategy Manager

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. This is a Hybrid role in San Francisco so you must live within commuting distance to our SF hub. 

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Define Canva’s go-to-market strategy and organization design for the global sales and customer success organization, partnering closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product
  • Clearly define customer profile, KPIs, operating rhythm, and playbooks
  • Help facilitate annual planning process in close collaboration with Sales Operations/Systems
  • Partner with Sales Leads on business planning, forecasting, pipeline analysis and sales program
  • Identify and own key opportunities in the organization and develop and deliver strategic initiatives

You're probably a match if

  • You have 4+ Years of experience ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles
  • You have experience in SaaS sales organization
  • You have the ability to translate complex information and data into easily consumable insights
  • You’re a self-starter with the ability to roll up sleeves and get things done
  • You’re an excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • You have experience using SFDC and excel (SQL nice to have)
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enable informed decision making


About the team

The Sales Strategy and Programs team plays a meaningful role in supporting the revenue growth at Canva by creating clarity on our overall revenue and GTM strategy and plan. The team sits within the broader Sales Ops/Strategy/Systems organization that aligns our go-to-market efforts across Sales/Customer Success/Marketing as well as company leadership.

We make hiring decisions based on your skills, experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is $140,000- $192,000. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
